Tour Plan

1. Arrival – Negombo

Upon arriving in Sri Lanka, meet and be assisted at the airport by our representative and transfer to Negombo from the Bandaranayake International Airport for your first night. You can discover the elegant and serene cathedrals decorating the townscape, each a unique haven dedicated to different saints, which have earned the town the title “Little Rome”. Evening relax at the beach

2. Negombo/ Kithulgala

After breakfast, do the city tour in Negombo. As the fourth largest city in Sri Lanka, famous for fishing industry, you can see when the local fisherfolk bring in the day’s catch on the iconic catamarans of Negombo, to sell at the famous Lellama – the local seafood market, abounding with fascinating varieties of fish, and some of the best crabs found across Sri Lanka. Negombo’s history also lends the city its fond nickname of ‘Little Rome’, where a number of catholic churches and cathedrals were established by the Portuguese, while the Dutch have also left behind their legacy of a 17th century fort that now serves as the city's prison. After that, we will continue your journey to Kithulgala and check in to the hotel. Evening you can do the white-water rafting. (Taste your meal together for your first taste of Sri Lankan cuisine.)

3. Kithulgala

Kitulgala is an ideal place for nature walks and bird-watching. After an early breakfast, we do the trekking through the jungle, which gives you a chance to discover the endemic plant and animal species of Sri Lanka. You can see many Sri Lankan endemic birds such as the Yellow-fronted Barbet, Spot-winged Thrush, Sri Lanka Spurfowl, Sri Lanka Blue Magpie, and Red-faced Malkoha. Cross the Kelani River in a dugout canoe and reach the Kelani Valley Forest Reserve, which is a lowland tropical rainforest rich in endemic fauna and flora

4. Arrival in Mahiyanganaya

After breakfast, we will leave from Kithulgala and proceed to Mahiyanganaya. Mahiyanganaya is a town in Sri Lanka with a rich history and cultural importance. If you are lucky, you can see the Crocodiles, toque macaques and especially elephants on your way to Mahiyanaganaya. 5. Mahiyanganaya

For nature enthusiasts, Maduru Oya National Park is a must-visit place. After breakfast early in the morning do the safari game in Maduru Oya National Park. It’s a testament to the country's rich biodiversity and natural splendor. Renowned for its expansive elephant habitat, this wilderness sanctuary offers a haven for a diverse array of wildlife, from majestic leopards and sloth bears to graceful deer and elusive nocturnal creatures. After that, head to a local’s home for a cooking demonstration of traditional dishes like pol Sambol and dhal curry, which you’ll enjoy for lunch

6. Arrival in Galoya

Enjoy a leisurely morning today, and head further east to an even more remote part of the island – Gal Oya National Park. Your tranquil eco retreat for two nights is spread across a 20-acre forest edged by Gal Oya National Park and the Senanayake Samudraya, one of Sri Lanka's largest lakes. This lake is home to large herds of elephants: take an evening boat safari and, as the sun begins to set, watch elephants swimming between the tiny islands that are scattered across the reservoir.

7. Galoya

You can begin today with a unique experience meeting the Veddas, Sri Lanka’s aboriginal people. This area is one of the last remaining homes of the Vedda people, whose traditional lifestyles face tension with the mainstream way of living. On this nature walk with Gal Oya’s Vedda chief, you will see hunting weapons; witness how they gather honey, and listen to songs sung in their indigenous language. late-afternoon game drive in the park, which contains elephants, water buffalo, deer, crocodile, and numerous species of birds.

8. Yala

Yala relishes its title as the national park with the highest concentration of leopards in the world. Yala offers a great all-round experience. The park stretches across Sri Lanka’s southeast coast, attracting a mix of wetland, coastal, and jungle animals

9. Yala / Bundala / Yala

This morning, do the safari game in Bundala National Park. Sri Lanka has a huge array of colorful tropical birds. It harbors about 200 bird species and is declared both a Ramsar wetland site and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve

10. Arrival in Mirissa

As you begin to join the south coast, Mirissa is known for its diverse marine life, particularly sea turtles. The beach is also known for seeing stingrays, eels, and various tropical fish, making it a popular spot for snorkeling and diving. In the evening, visit Polhena beach, where you can swim with Green Sea Turtles in Sri Lanka. And also visit the Conservation Project in Rekawa to witness the amazing process of marine turtles nesting.

11. Mirissa

Mirissa is one of the foremost places in the world to see blue whales and sperm whales. Do the whale watching tour in the morning

12. Departure

Your trip comes to an end after breakfast this morning. You will be driven to the airport for your flight back home
